Lucy Phillips

Lucy has been singing and performing since she was 5 years old and has worked in musical theatre as well as a number of contemporary bands around the UK. For the past ten years her main focus has been as a voice coach, specialising in the SLS technique and also as a life coach and NLP practitioner.

She has trained professional performers for many West End musicals including: Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, The Producers, and The Lion King. She has coached singers for tv appearances including Dance X and Any Dream Will Do and appeared alongside Louie Walsh on the judging panel at the Carlisle Live Festival. She travels regularly to LA to train with Seth Riggs and other leading SLS teachers and has taught at a prestigious SLS summer camp in the US.

"My extensive experience as a working singer has given me a great insight in to the need of healthy vocal production. Getting through 6 shows a week, or singing with a live 5 piece band with an over enthusiastic drummer will definitely take its toll without suitable vocal training." Lucy loves the challenge and diversity of teaching and running Voxbox." She is currently a Level 3 instructor.
