Has a passion for Latin American music. Was impressed by the way SLS smoothed out vocal bridges and balanced her voice and decided to teach the technique. Has English, Italian, Spanish, French and Latin American students. A confessed 'dabbler' in piano, saxophone and more seriously guitar and vocals, Rachel developed her interest in music at an early age. Launching her performing career as singer/saxophonist in a Brazilian Bossa band at Bristol University in 1990, she has continued playing and singing Latin American and Mediterranean music including salsa, and Latin jazz. She originally trained in classical technique and has had many singing teachers in her time, but radically improved when she stumbled upon SLS in 2004. She was so impressed by the way the technique smoothed out the bridges and balanced her voice that she decided to teach the technique herself. She has been teaching now for 6 years and has a range of English, Italian, Spanish, French and Latin American students. She released a solo album of original Latin tracks titled Etiquetas Incompletas in 2002
